I'm Brandon Maynard, an AI integration and automation engineer based in Greensboro, NC.

I help teams ship AI-powered features that work in production—not just impressive demos. My focus is practical LLM integration, workflow automation, and building systems that teams can actually maintain.

This work is grounded in 10+ years of full-stack development and cloud engineering. I've built enterprise platforms, e-commerce systems, and developer tools across React, Vue, Node.js, Python, Go, and modern cloud infrastructure. That foundation means I understand where AI fits into real systems—and where it doesn't.

How I Work

  • → Start with constraints. Understanding limits (budget, timeline, existing systems) shapes better solutions than open-ended ideation.
  • → Prototype fast, then prove it works. Build working demos early, but invest equally in evaluation and metrics before calling something done.
  • → Observability is not optional. Every AI feature ships with logging, tracing, and monitoring. You can't improve what you can't measure.
  • → Ship iteratively. First version solves the core problem. Subsequent versions incorporate real feedback and production learnings.
  • → Automate the boring parts. Manual processes are failure modes. Testing, deployment, and operational tasks get automated first.
